Nittany Valley Half Marathon Volunteers Needed!

We invite 4-6 HVWC members to serve as course marshalls during the Nittany Valley Half Marathon on Sunday December 8 from approx. 8:30am-1:30pm to escort lead runners, sweep after the last runners, and flex between start & finish lines. Volunteers will be asked to attend a brief prep call the week before to go over details. This race hosted 575 runners last year (!) and covers 13.1 miles of paved and gravel roads. They can use additional volunteers in non-cycling roles (such as directing runners at turns) if we have folks interested in that.
